Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our dedicated Arrow Trekking and Safaris team will warmly welcome you. A comfortable transfer will take you to your lodge in Arusha, where you can unwind after your journey. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a pre-safari briefing, preparing you for the thrilling adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and journey through the scenic landscapes of Tanzania, passing local villages and the vast plains of the Great Rift Valley. Enter Serengeti National Park, renowned for its endless savannahs and abundant wildlife. Enjoy an en-route game drive, spotting herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and big cats like lions and leopards. As the sun sets, arrive at your mid-range lodge or tented camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner under the starlit African sky.

Rise early for a spectacular sunrise game drive, the best time to witness predators in action. Explore the Serengeti’s vast ecosystem, tracking the movements of the Great Migration (seasonal) and encountering diverse wildlife, from cheetahs and buffalos to rhinos and gazelles.

After lunch, embark on a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying stunning views along the way. Arrive at your mid-range lodge near the crater rim, where you’ll relax with breathtaking views of the caldera before dinner.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife havens. The crater is home to an incredible density of wildlife, including the Big Five, flamingos, and hippos. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the diverse landscapes, from open grasslands to swamps and acacia forests.

After lunch by the hippo pool, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. Depending on your travel plans, we can arrange an airport transfer or additional excursions.

Yes, most international visitors require a visa to enter Tanzania. Tourist visas can be obtained online, at Tanzanian embassies, or upon arrival at the airport. It’s advisable to check specific visa requirements based on your nationality before traveling.

The best time for a safari is during the dry season (June to October) when wildlife viewing is at its peak. However, the green season (November to May) offers fewer crowds and beautiful landscapes, with the Great Migration in Serengeti being a year-round spectacle.

This is a mid-range safari, meaning you’ll stay in comfortable lodges or tented camps that provide en-suite bathrooms, delicious meals, and excellent service while maintaining an authentic safari experience.

You can expect to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and numerous bird species. Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti are rich in wildlife.

Swahili is the official language of Tanzania, and English is widely spoken, especially in tourist areas. Learning a few Swahili phrases is appreciated and can enhance your cultural experience (greeting people with “Jambo” (hello) )

You’ll need a valid passport, a Tanzanian visa, and permits provided by your tour operator to access Kilimanjaro National Park.
