Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, the Arrow Trekking and Safaris team will be there to warmly welcome you. You’ll be transferred to your lodge in Arusha, where you can unwind after your journey. Enjoy a delicious meal and a detailed safari briefing by your guide, preparing you for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and rich wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife. Tarangire’s river serves as a vital water source, attracting animals year-round. In the evening, head to your mid-range lodge or tented camp for a relaxing dinner under the African sky.

In the evening, settle into your mid-range lodge or tented camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a night surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

After lunch near a scenic hippo pool, begin the return journey to Arusha. Upon arrival, we can arrange an airport transfer or additional excursions based on your travel plans.

Yes, most international visitors require a visa to enter Tanzania. Tourist visas can be obtained online, at Tanzanian embassies, or upon arrival at the airport. It’s advisable to check specific visa requirements based on your nationality before traveling.

The best time for a safari is during the dry season (June to October) when wildlife viewing is at its peak. However, the green season (November to May) offers fewer crowds and beautiful landscapes, with the Great Migration in Serengeti being a year-round spectacle.

This is a mid-range safari, meaning you’ll stay in comfortable lodges or tented camps that provide en-suite bathrooms, delicious meals, and excellent service while maintaining an authentic safari experience.

You can expect to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and numerous bird species. Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti are rich in wildlife.
