Your journey begins with an early morning hotel pickup in Arusha or Moshi. After a scenic 2-3 hour drive, passing through Maasai villages and open savannahs, you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Your guide will provide a short briefing on the park’s history, ecosystems, and safety before starting your thrilling game drive.

Upon entering Tarangire, you will immediately notice the breathtaking landscape dominated by giant baobab trees. These ancient trees, sometimes referred to as the "Tree of Life," provide a dramatic backdrop for the wildlife encounters ahead.

Your game drive takes you across the park’s grasslands, riverbanks, and acacia woodlands, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot elephants in large herds—one of Tarangire’s signature attractions. You may also see lions resting under trees, leopards hiding in the branches, and giraffes grazing gracefully.
