Your journey begins with an early morning pickup from Arusha or Moshi, followed by a scenic 3-4 hour drive to Mkomazi National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of rural Tanzania, Maasai villages, and the towering peaks of Kilimanjaro and the Pare Mountains. Upon arrival at the park gate, your guide will provide a briefing on the park’s history, wildlife, and conservation efforts before starting the safari.

Your morning game drive will take you through the vast grasslands, thorny bushveld, and acacia woodlands that make up Mkomazi’s unique ecosystem. Continue your afternoon game drive, exploring different areas of the park and searching for any animals you may have missed earlier in the day. As the sun begins to set, exit the park and start your journey back to Moshi or Arusha, arriving in the evening.
